On the 5th of October, the Okean Elzy frontman Svyatoslav Vakarchuk performed an acoustic concert in Kiev to raise funds for charitable projects.

Part of the money collected will finance equipment for distant learning sessions: students across the country, especially those from Donbas area and from Crimea, will then have access to lectures, seminars and web conferences of the Kiioviensis Mohileana Academy.
A quarter of the funds raised will be transferred to the charity project 'Protection of the Patriots' which operates under the auspices of the Ukrainian World Congress. Money will help buying medicines for Ukrainian soldiers.
Regarding the concert, spectators comments on social networks say:
- 'It was a sincere and touching performance, a bit sad and very cool!'
- 'I'm very happy to listen to Vakarchuk singing jazz. But there was so little Okean Elzy songs!...'
- 'Many years after they have been composed, some songs looked new!'
If Slava sang few Okean Elzy songs, he also performed the famous Beatles 'Blackbird' song and the jazz hit 'Moon River' from the movie 'Breakfast at Tiffany's'.
